Ryan Reynolds is a beautiful man…….

Ryan Reynolds is a beautiful man…….

I rewatched Deadpool recently (great movie), starring Mr. Reynolds & I don’t mind admitting it, Ryan has still got it!

The character he plays in the movie undergoes a mutation which gives him the ability to recover & regenerate… The downside to this gift is he becomes extremely scarred from head to toe…

As I’m a bit of a nerd, I watched the blu ray extras which detailed the make up process that Ryan had to go through to on a daily basis to become Deadpool…

>The prosthetics for his face alone took 3 hours!

>The full body work took 7 hours!

>That’s every day of shooting!

This got me thinking about your goals….

Very often in life we see and focus on the end result or product without understanding or educating ourselves on the process that is required to get there…….

We see someone in physical shape and we become envious and begin to desire what we see for ourselves….

Sometimes, we do so without taking the time to appreciate the time, dedication & potential sacrifices it took that individual to get there…..

Most individuals you see who are in what you believe to be desirable shape have had to work consistently (key word) to get there…

Yes, they are some genetic freaks out there but for the most part, work and dedication has played a key part…..

When you see a big house, or a flash car, more than likely that person has had to work hard & consistently to get there…..

When you see the ‘perfect couple’ they will also have endured tougher times, but consistency & dedication carries them through….

The secret to achieving success in any of your goals, whether it’s in body, in mind, in business or in love is consistency……

That’s all for today, until the next time,

P.S what’s your fav Reynolds movie?

P.P.S Ryan not Burt…….

Birthday Cake ISNT bad for you……..

It’s true…..

However its only true IF its your birthday.

Think about it……would anyone judge you or form an opinion on you for having cake on your birthday?

It’s almost like a given isn’t it? Birthday & cake, hand in hand, totally normal.

It’s not deemed a ‘bad’ thing.

It’s also totally normal & acceptable to join in & eat cake when you are celebrating a friend/loved ones bday.

I turned 38 last Friday ( I know, I don’t look it……)

Did I have a treat? Yes
Did I eat cake? Yes.

>However, what about having cake when it isn’t your birthday?

……you are not celebrating?

It’s just a ‘normal’ day?

Perhaps it’s just a little occasional treat that you just fancied?

Is this acceptable? Probably, yes. Is it ‘bad’ for you? Not necessarily…..

>However, what about eating birthday cake every other day?

Is this ‘bad’ for you?

The thing here is that, the cake hasn’t changed, what has changed is your choice.

It’s not about the cake being ‘bad’ for you, it’s about making good or bad choices, choices which in turn help determine your outcome.

Eating cake on a birthday isn’t bad…eating cake every day becomes a bad choice..

Try not to label foods as ‘ good’ or ‘bad’, doing so can often lead to negative relationships with certain foods, but instead consider that there are only good or bad choices..

As with all aspects of life, its your choices that will effect the end result/goal.

Thats all for today, until the next time,

Tristan ’38’ Buttle.

PS – The only food I WOULD label as ‘bad’ is Turkish delight! That is the devils work! Seriously, who eats that stuff?!
